Since October 2000 he has been working as an extended scope practitioner in the spinal triage clinics at Frimley Park Hospital and has extensive clinical experience in the treatment of spinal conditions..

Neil is a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports Medicine, a member of the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine and a member of the Extended Scope Practitioner Group.

Neil qualified at the Wolverhampton School of Physiotherapy in 1988. After working in the field of Orthopaedics and musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, he developed an interest in sports injuries. In 1998 he attend the Commonwealth Games as the Physiotherapist to the England Men's Hockey team and in 1996 and 2000 he attended the Atlanta and Sydney Olympic Games as the Physiotherapist to the Great Britain Men's Hockey team.
